Swarovski: Frozen Dreams Austria 2013
JUSTSO is one of the leading Retail Design Firms. How excited were we when for the fourth time, the team at JUSTSO were lucky enough to be engaged by Swarovski to dress the stages at the palace in Austria for the ‘Frozen Dreams’ installation.
In the true spirit of the winter season an accent of sumptuous and regal purple enhances the drama of this dark fairy tale vision, On the 3 beautiful exhibition stages, 3 stunning crystal embellished dresses were installed, 2 of the gorgeous gowns from the archive formally belonged to the legendary welsh diva – Dame Shirley Bassey.
Reaching up through the delicate spindly branches the mannequins inspire us to look more closely at the beauty of the crystal. Gorgeous and delicate purple drops drape gently from the stunning, sparkling tress. Shimmering with translucent light the crystals hang like magical droplets around the beautifully dressed central features.
These 3 amazing examples of 20th century fashion couture from the Swarovski archives, visitors to the space are taken on a journey through this shimmering winter wonderland.
